Benjamin Bee

This is a picture of myself and Louie Ladybug in our leaf canoe.  We would rather go out in the canoe than eat sometimes.  But since this page is about me, I guess I better tell you about myself first.

I am a honeybee and I am eight years old.  Since I am a bee, I can fly very fast and that is something I like to do.  But one day, it got me in trouble.  My flying friends and I were having a race and I wasn't watching where I was going.  I was looking backward to see if anyone was catching up and I flew right into a tree.  I broke a leg and my wings and smacked my head pretty hard.  You can see a picture of me at the hospital in my scrapbook pages.  It was really strange to ride in an ambulance, but you should have seen the looks on the paramedics that came when they found me.  I will tell you more about that story later.

This is Honeycomb Castle, which is where I live with my mom, Queen Aviante.  She is the queen of the Ruby Valley and is a really great mom.  She is kind to everyone and never says a bad word about anyone.  Sometimes, she doesn't let me do things I want to do, and I pout and get mad.  But she keeps loving me and doesn't let me throw a temper tantrum.  I'm trying hard to do better about my temper.

In our castle, we have lots of stores of honey and there are soldiers who watch out for my mom and me, but mostly they are there to protect the honey from the stupid bugs, oops, I mean the bad bugs of Stinkbug Swamp who are always trying to steal it.

I like to read, go camping, fishing and swimming.  Hiking is also one of my favorite things to do.  I told you about our canoe and we also go tubing up and down Cricket Creek.   When you go to the map page, you can return to this page by just clicking on the back arrow at the top of your internet page.

My favorite color is yellow because it is a bright, happy color and reminds me of the sun and the golden honey we make here in Bug Hollow.  My favorite food is honey, of course.  What are some of your favorite things.

The character trait I picked to work on is Responsibility, which means taking care of my things and being responsible with money and in the things I do.  It is really hard most of the time.   But, I am making progress.

Oh, I want to show you our cucumbermobile.  It is an old cucumber made into a van that Rocky Ladybug gave us so our parents could take us camping in and on outings around the island.  At first, I was like, yuck.  It was ugly.  But, everyone helped us clean it up and fix it up and now it putters down the road really good.  I like it now that is all cleaned up and as one of my goals, it is my responsibility to keep the windows clean each week.  Some of the other Bug Scouts have chores with it too.  That is all for now.  I want to go play with my friends.  But you can keep looking around the website if you want to.  See ya.
