Thanks for visiting Toadstool Press, the Bug Scouts'
very own printing press and publishing company. Located on the town
square in Bug Hollow, it is the home of Bug Island's very own newspaper,
the
"Bug
Island Gazette", serving bugs throughout the Enchanted Ruby
Valley. Yes, even the bad bugs of Stinkbug Swamp...although we're not
sure if they really read the paper, but it gets delivered there, and the
newspaper staff tries to keep up with the happenings in the swamp, which
is kind of hard to do. Ask for it at your neighborhood
newspaper.
The publisher and owner, Mr. Lizardo, has been very helpful in
helping the Bug Scouts get their very own
"Bug
Scout Adventure Series Journal" stories published as well as
helping them learn how to publish the newspaper.
Toadstool Press also publishes works by humans, such
as the exciting new "Family Tree Series,"
the first story of
which is hot off the press:
"Tyler's Treasure," about pirates
and dolphins and buried treasures.
